These terms and conditions are strictly for the “CUSTOMERS” of Precision Pro Painters Inc. and are confidential between those two parties only, this is not to be passed onto any third parties other than the “CUSTOMERS” of Precision Pro Painters Inc. that they are conducting business with.

1. Our Service Commitment
Precision Pro Painters provides professional painting services for both residential and commercial properties throughout Texas. When you partner with us, you’re choosing a company that values craftsmanship, reliability, and your complete satisfaction.
Services We Provide:
- Interior residential and commercial painting
- Exterior residential and commercial painting
- Surface preparation, repair, and priming
- Cabinet refinishing and specialty finishes
- Deck and fence staining
- Drywall repair and texture matching
- Color consultation services
- Power washing and surface cleaning
2. Contract Agreement & Estimates
Free Estimates
We provide FREE, no-obligation quotes to all potential clients. Our quotes are detailed, transparent, and valid for 90 days from the date of issuance.
Written Contracts
Every project begins with a written contract that clearly outlines:
- Detailed scope of work and project specifications
- Specific materials, brands, and paint products to be used
- Total project cost with itemized breakdown
- Payment schedule, accepted payment methods, and due dates
- Project timeline with quoted start and completion dates
- Warranty terms and coverage details
Both parties must sign the contract before work begins. A signed contract represents our mutual commitment to the project terms.
Changes to the Scope of Work
We understand that project needs can evolve. Any changes to the original scope of work must be documented in a written Change Order signed by both parties. Additional work will be quoted and agreed upon before proceeding to ensure no surprises.
3. Payment Terms
Precision Pro Painters operates on a fair and transparent payment structure designed to protect both parties throughout the project.
Standard Payment Schedule | Commercial:
- Deposit: 30% of the total project cost is required to secure your booking, purchase materials, and some labor
- Progress Payment: 40% due at project midpoint or upon substantial completion of prep work, and labor
- Final Payment: 30% due upon the day of project completion, and your satisfaction is met
Standard Payment Schedule | Residential:
- Deposit: 50% of the total project cost is required to secure your booking, purchase materials, and most labor
- Final Payment: 50% due upon the day of project completion, and your satisfaction is met
Accepted Payment Methods: We accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards for your convenience.
Payment Due Dates: Payments are due according to the schedule outlined in your contract. Final payment is required before the warranty can or will be activated. Non-payment voids the warranty. Past-due accounts may incur a 5% monthly finance charge on the final gross amount owed, and may result in suspension of work until the accounts are current.
4. Our Comprehensive Warranty
3-Year Workmanship Warranty
Precision Pro Painters proudly stands behind every project with our 3-Year Workmanship Warranty. This warranty covers any peeling, blistering, or chipping resulting from defective workmanship or improper material application.
Warranty Coverage Includes:
- Labor to repair covered defects
- Touch-ups and repainting of affected areas
- Surface preparation needed for warranty repairs
To Maintain Valid Warranty Coverage, You Must:
- Pay the original contract price in full
- Retain a copy of your original contract and proof of payment
- Notify us in writing within 30 days of discovering any warranty issue
- Provide reasonable access to the property for inspection and repairs
- Follow manufacturer maintenance guidelines for painted surfaces
Warranty Exclusions:
This warranty does not cover issues caused by:
- Normal wear and tear from regular use
- Damage from harsh cleaning chemicals or abrasive cleaning methods
- Structural movement, settling, or foundation issues
- Acts of nature (hail, flooding, extreme weather events)
- Moisture intrusion from plumbing leaks or roof damage
- Pre-existing substrate conditions or previous paint layers
- Modifications or work performed by other contractors
- Failure to maintain painted surfaces per the manufacturer’s recommendations
- Abuse, neglect, or intentional damage
Important: This warranty is provided to the original customer only and is non-transferable. Paint manufacturer warranties are separate and may provide additional coverage for specific products used.
5. Project Timeline & Schedule
We respect your time and strive to complete every project efficiently without sacrificing quality.
Project Scheduling:
- Start dates are confirmed in writing upon contract signing and deposit receipt
- We work consecutive days to minimize disruption to your daily routine
- Typical residential projects: 2-7 days depending on size and scope
- Commercial projects: Timeline established based on project requirements
Potential Delays:
While we make every effort to stay on schedule, certain factors beyond our control may affect project timing:
- Severe weather conditions (rain, extreme temperatures, high winds)
- Discovery of unexpected structural issues requiring repair
- Material delivery delays
- Customer-requested changes to project scope
We will communicate promptly about any schedule changes and work diligently to minimize delays.
6. Materials & Quality Standards
Premium Materials:
At Precision Pro Painters, we use only professional-grade paints and materials from trusted manufacturers, including Sherwin-Williams, Benjamin Moore, and other premium brands. All products are selected for their durability, coverage, and long-lasting finish.
Customer-Supplied Materials:
If you wish to supply your own paint or materials, please discuss this during the estimate phase. We reserve the right to inspect materials for quality and suitability. Warranty coverage may be affected when customer-supplied materials are used, as we cannot guarantee their performance.
Industry Standards:
All work is performed in accordance with current industry standards and professional best practices. Our crew members receive ongoing training to ensure the highest quality craftsmanship on every job.
7. Property Protection & Cleanliness
We treat your property with the same care and respect we’d give our own homes.
Our Protection Process:
- All furniture, floors, and fixtures are carefully covered and protected
- Drop cloths and plastic sheeting are used throughout work areas
- Masking and taping of all surfaces not designated for painting
- Daily cleanup of work areas at the end of each day
- Complete cleanup upon project completion, including debris removal
- Final walkthrough to ensure your satisfaction
Customer Preparation:
To ensure efficient service, we recommend customers:
- Remove small decorative items, picture frames, and breakables
- Clear countertops and shelves in areas to be painted
- Ensure access to water and electricity
- Secure pets during working hours
Communicate any special concerns or delicate items
8. Insurance & Liability
Precision Pro Painters is fully licensed and insured for your protection and peace of mind.
Our Coverage:
- General Liability Insurance covering property damage and accidents
- Licensed contractor operating in compliance with Texas state regulations
Limitation of Liability:
While we take every precaution to protect your property, Precision Pro Painters’ liability is limited to the original contract price. We are not responsible for pre-existing structural defects, hidden damage, or issues caused by factors outside our control.
9. Customer Satisfaction & Communication
Your satisfaction drives everything we do. We maintain open, honest communication throughout your project.
Our Communication Promise:
- A dedicated project manager assigned to your job
- Regular updates on project progress
- Availability to answer questions via phone, text, or email
- Final walkthrough to address any concerns before project completion
- Post-project follow-up to ensure your continued satisfaction
If You’re Not Satisfied:
If any aspect of our work doesn’t meet your expectations, please notify us immediately. We will work with you to resolve any concerns promptly and professionally. Your happiness with the final result is our top priority.
10. Cancellation & Termination
Customer Cancellation:
Customers may cancel a scheduled project with written notice. Cancellation terms:
- More than 7 days before start date: Full refund of deposit minus 10% administrative fee
- 3-7 days before start date: 50% refund of deposit
- Less than 3 days before start date: No refund of deposit (materials have been ordered)
Work in Progress:
If cancellation occurs after work has begun, the customer is responsible for payment of all work completed to date, plus materials purchased for the project.
Contractor Termination:
Precision Pro Painters reserves the right to terminate a contract if the customer fails to make timely payments, denies reasonable access to the property, engages in abusive behavior toward our staff, or is unreasonable and uncooperative in completing the job.
11. Dispute Resolution
We are committed to resolving any disagreements fairly and efficiently.
Resolution Process:
- Step 1: Direct communication with the project manager to resolve concerns about the project or Job – Almost all cases are resolved at this point for our customers
- Step 2: Escalation to company ownership for mediation only if no resolution can be made with the project manager
- Step 3: If necessary, binding arbitration in accordance with Texas law
All disputes shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas. Any arbitration proceedings shall take place in the county where the work was performed.
12. Privacy & Confidentiality
We respect your privacy and protect your personal information.
- Customer information is used solely for providing painting services
- We do not sell or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes
- Photos of completed work may be used for marketing with the customer’s permission
All payment information is handled securely
13. Additional Terms
Independent Contractor Relationship:
Precision Pro Painters operates as an independent contractor. No employer-employee, partnership, or joint venture relationship is created by this agreement.
Permits & Compliance:
Customer is responsible for obtaining any necessary permits required by local authorities. Precision Pro Painters will comply with all applicable building codes and regulations.
Modifications to Terms:
Precision Pro Painters reserves the right to update these Terms of Service periodically. Updated terms will be posted on our website with the effective date. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
Force Majeure:
Neither party shall be liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from circumstances beyond their reasonable control, including natural disasters, government actions, or other force majeure events.
